Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
St. Raphael’s Garda Credit Union Ltd can now transfer money directly to your current account in the bank. It can be transferred within one working day. In order for us to do this we need to get your bank account details(account number and sort code), you can fax, e-mail or post them to us with your membership number included.
For EFT’s to be carried out within one working day, you need to contact our office before 2pm. Any calls for EFT’s after this time will take one extra working day to complete.
Salary Facilities – Deductions at Source
For those credit union members who are also serving Garda members, the credit union has arranged with the Department of Justice that regular weekly credit union payments may be deducted automatically from wages. For retired Garda members , monthly deductions from your pension can be arranged. This is a highly convenient arrangement for our members, as it saves you from having to remember to make payments.
Foreign Currency
We provide a foreign currency exchange service. This service is available nationwide by mail, or to personal callers at our offices.
