Most people join a credit union so that they may save regularly and take out loans when needed. The interest rates for credit union loans are lower than almost any other form of borrowing, which is why they are so popular. There are no hidden charges or fees or charges for early redemption of loans. Loan rates are variable and interest is calculated daily on a reducing balance basis. You can apply for a loan by:
- Apply Online by email to lending@straphaelscu.ie or Log In to Internet Banking
- Calling into our offices in 1-2 Fox & Geese, Naas Road, Dublin 22.
- Telephoning our offices on 0818 247 365, and making an application with during office hours, speaking with one of our team, or making an application through our Cuecall system*.
Loan application and credit agreement forms will then be posted to you for signing and witnessing. Witness can be be anybody over the age of 18.
Incomplete forms will be returned to member and only complete forms will be considered by the loans section.
* Please note that all loans applied for using the Cuecall system are at our base rate of 8.25% (8.56% apr)
